Overview
Since
1972 AEL DDS has been involved in logistics and transportation
of petroleum products and hazardous products for the major
petroleum companies in Mauritius and Rodrigues.

Safety being our key objective, AEL DDS Ltd. abides by a strict

customers and the community at large, working continuously
towards the prevention of accidents and injuries. Employees

effective, efficient and safe transportation of petroleum products

Main products and services
Transportation
of hazardous products
In
an effort to counter the risks involved in the transportation of
hazardous products, AEL DDS Ltd. continuously invests in ensuring
a safe environment in accordance with international norms. A rigorous
safety training programme and the application of Health, Safety
and Environment norms and policies, together with:

Regular
workplace inspections by Health and Safety officers

HSSE
safety meetings with employees every two months

HSSE
management meetings every three months

Regular
Driver Training and In-cab Assessments enables us to ensure
an effective, efficient and safe transportation of petroleum
and other hazardous products.
DDS Knowledge Centre
DDS
Knowledge Centre, the training arm of AEL DDS LTD, is operational
since August 2008. DDS Knowledge Centre is a recognised training
institution, a center for learning and sharing, operating in close
co-operation with other leading organisations and institutions.
DDS Knowledge Centre offers a wide range of training programs while
having the ability to customize training to meet customers’
needs.
DDS
Knowledge Center is committed to working with a large number of
customers in both the public and the private sector. Its prime focus
is Excellency and sharing of Global Best Practices. Our aim is to
become the leading Training School in Mauritius and Rodrigues to
offer a broad spectrum of training, ranging from Quality to High
Standard Defensive Driving Courses ©. All courses are MQA approved
and trainers are experienced and dedicated.

Robert
Desvaux has 24 years experience in the Industrial and Logistics
environment. He joined AEL DDS Ltd. as Operations Manager
in 2003, having spent 18 years in management positions at
the Rogers Group. He holds a Diploma in Logistics Management
from the University of East London, a Diploma in Managing
health and safety from National Examination Board in Occupational
Safety and Health England & Wales and is a qualified
trainer in the field of Transportation of Petroleum Products.

Training Manager of DDS Knowledge Centre |

Pamela
Comaren is the HSSE Manager of AEL DDS Ltd and the Training
Manager of DDS Knowledge Centre. Pamela holds a BEng (Hons)
Chemical and Environmental Engineering from the University
of Mauritius.
She
joined AEL DDS Ltd in July 2009. Pamela has worked for a
well know multinational petroleum company as Laboratory
& Quality Control Manager for four years where she has
gained extensive experience and knowledge in the Petroleum
Sector. Before that, she was working for a renowed Certification
and Testing body for almost two years.
