1998, Hydrocarbon Storage & Distribution Ltd. (HSDL) has
established itself as the market leader in the supply of bitumen.

Main
products and services
Importation
and storage of bitumen
The imports of solid and cold bitumen come mainly from South Africa
and are stored in tanks strategically located in the port area.
Distribution
of bitumen
Building on its experience, HSDL relies on a logistics management
aimed at minimizing delays in the delivery of bitumen. Hot liquefied
bitumen is pumped into thermal tanks, ready to be distributed to
customers across the island. Our process and logistics planning
ensures the availability of bitumen, requiring advance notification
of quantity and a delivery schedule only in the case of large projects.
Otherwise, a simple phone call and purchase order will suffice for
delivery to be assured.

Alain
started his professional career in the Hotel Industry and
joined the Rogers Group in 1976. In 1980 he was promoted
to Manager of the Rogers Group’s SEBNA Manufacturing
Plant and in 1995, Senior Manager of Scotts Logistics. He
joined Taylor Smith & Co as Managing Director in 2001and
was appointed as Director of Taylor Smith Group in 2004.
